Professor Leon C. Fulcher is the former Director
of Social Work Education at Stirling University, Professor
of Social Work at Victoria University of Wellington in
New Zealand, and Assistant Provost and Dean of Students at
the United Arab Emirates University.
Since 1998 Leon has also worked as an International Practice,
Research and Training Consultant in places such as China
and Malaysia, as well as the UK, Ireland, Canada and the
USA.
He is particularly involved in the continuing development
of child and youth care services, the applications of
e-learning technology in the education and training of
social care and social workers, and the transfer of learning
from classrooms to workplaces.
